Nice 3 cent 1861 cover from the Court of Appeals for the state of Maryland at Annapolis. Weak postmark with sectioned cork killer; stamp damaged at bottom right. Allover lined envelope with attractive seal of the court at upper left; small bite out of cover at bottom. Some damage on reverse, perhaps from a prior mounting of the cover.
