1893 Worlds Fair Station Chicago receiver from the Columbian Exposition in Chicago, properly used as a backstamp on a cover addressed to an exhibitor at the Liberal Arts Building. Chicago postmark from December 5, 2 cent Columbian envelope. This is after the exposition was closed to the public but exhibitors were apparently still tearning down. Bomar C93-03, valued at $500 as a backstamp in the last print edition of the Bomar catalog (with about 5 reported examples). This is a poor strike and discounted accordingly.Your satisfaction is guaranteed. APS member since 1992 and Hip seller since 1996.
