Rare example of the Charleston SC West Indian Exposition handstamp postmark on postal card to Georgetown. Bomar C02-01; less than a dozen known at the time of the last print edition of the catalog and valued at $600 then, reported used December 1901 into late May 1902. Legible but not very dark example, with receiver and message on back. Neat example of this scarce expo marking; an almost identical example sold for $350 plus commission in the last Rumsey auction.Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
