Item Description

Here is a post office fresh example of the precancelled 17 cent Electric Auto, Scott 1906a, from the first release of the transportation coil series. You will receive a mint never hinged plate number strip of five with plate number 5. This variety has the word "Presorted" at 12.8mm on the left most 3 stamps (type B) and "Presorted" at 11.4mm on the right most 2 stamps (type A). This makes it type BA combination strip with the precancel line gap at the line position (LINE GAP). The PNC3 Pricing Guide lists this strip at $102. Of course Scott does not address these combination precancel strips.  The pictured stamps are the stamps you will receive.
