Item Description

This Lot is a partial set of Nicaragua revenue stamps overprinted in 1911 for postal use - Scott #'s 273, 275-76, and 278 - in Mint Hinged condition. Stamps have nice coloring, light marginal toning spot on #278. Scott #273 has four margins, narrow on right side. Scott #278 perforations on right side are next to the design. Scott #'s 275 and 276 have four good margins and are centered toward right side and left side respectively. Perorations are good on all four stamps. Stamps are clean both front and reverse sides. Reverse sides have original gum and are hinged with hinge remnants. Please see pictures of front and reverse sides for centering and quality. Scott 2024 Catalogue values these four stamps at $17.50 US. (Please note - pictures were mounted on plastic stock sheet for scanned pictures - horizontal line across each stamp is the plastic strip on the stock sheet and does not appear on actual stamps. Stamps will be shipped in glassine envelope.)
