1913 Netherlands Poster Stamp Exhibition Of Northern Netherlandish Art Before 1575 In Utrecht September 1913 Unused No Gum This Stamp Is Difficult To Scan Or Photograph So I Have Included Both. The First Is A Photograph Taken On My Phone Camera And The Second Is My Usual Scan. The Stamp Is In Excellent Condition With No Damage Front Or Back But Without Gum. My Photography Leaves A Lot To Be Desired.This Poster Stamp Was Issued For The Exhibition Of Northern Netherlandish Art Before 1575, Held In Utrecht In September 1913, And Features A Refined, Minimalist Design Typical Of Early 20th-Century Dutch Graphic Art. The Central Motif Is A Large Deep Red Octagonal Field With Elegant Gold Lettering Giving The Event Title “Tentoonstelling Van Noord Nederlandsche Kunst Voor 1575 Te Utrecht Sept. 1913.” The Four Corners Of The Octagon Are Decorated With Small Ornamental Gold Scrollwork, Framing The Text And Adding A Touch Of Sophistication. The Clean Cream-Colored Background And The Symmetrical Layout Lend The Design A Formal And Scholarly Appearance, Befitting An Exhibition Dedicated To Pre-1575 Northern Netherlandish Painting And Decorative Arts.
