Up for auction is a beautiful Picture postcard cover from a Germany prisoner of war, POW, in the POW camp at Matsuyama Japan to R. Kretzschmer In Nagoya POW camp . In good condition some wear marks .Priced to sell.. Excellent cancels and markings. Postmarked 1915. Postcard depicts otamachi dori Yokohama . Covers from Germany POWs held by Japan in World War 1 are exceptionally rare, moreso ones held in Japan mailing covers with Japanese franking to other POWs. Extremely rare item. The sender is probably one of the Germany soldiers captured in Tsingtao China by Japanese forces early in world war 1.Shipping will be a flat $3.00 within the continental U.S. for USPS mail, insurance included. for overseas airmail, I will ship worldwide airmail to overseas customers for $17.00, registered mail fees included.
