Vintage (Circa 1915) US Poster Stamp Rubber Cement Floor Paint. W. P. Fuller & Co. Manufacturers. Unused 95% Original Gum Please Note That A Stain From The Glue Spot Used Shows Somewhat On The Front (Please Note That Stain, Marks, Creases And Other Imperfections Look Much Darker Because Of The Scan. I Do Not, Ever, Alter Scans!!)This Poster Stamp Was Issued By W. P. Fuller & Co., A San Francisco-Based Paint Manufacturer Active During The Early 20th Century, Likely Between 1910 And 1915. The Illustration Promotes Their "Rubber Cement Floor Paint" And Features A Domestic Scene With A Woman In A White Apron Kneeling On The Floor, Applying Paint With A Brush From An Open Can. The Interior Depicts A Modest Kitchen With A Wood-Burning Stove, Chair, And Sink In The Background. A Startled Black Cat, Having Just Stepped In The Freshly Painted Floor, Leaves Visible White Paw Prints As It Skitters Away. The Visual Humor Reinforces The Freshness And Brightness Of The Product. The Upper Portion Contains The Text “Rubber Cement Floor Paint” In Bold Green And Black Capital Letters, While The Manufacturer’s Name Appears At The Bottom In Yellow Block Type With “W. P. Fuller & Co.” Followed By “Manufacturers” Below. The Imagery, Typography, And Use Of Humorous Domestic Mishap Are Characteristic Of American Commercial Design From The 1910s. No Visible Tears Or Stains Are Present; The Stamp Is Clean And Well-Centered. Visible Text (Rewritten In Sentence Form): Rubber Cement Floor Paint. W. P. Fuller & Co. Manufacturers.
