Very Scarce 1920 Germany Poster Stamp "Prowodnik" Auto Tires (Russian Tire Company) Unrivaled Quality Brand Reliable Durable & Economical Unused No Gum. Provodnik and Triangle were one of the largest tire manufacturers; they ranked second and third in their production in the world, second only to the French company Michelin, and had sales offices on all continents. Russian tires in those days were rightfully considered the best in the world and enjoyed enormous success - Russia had something to be proud of. There are documents left from those times - they are interesting in their own way. The “greatest” automotive powers advertised “Made in Russia” tires on the pages of magazines and newspapers, and car owners willingly bought Russian tires. Advertising appeals and slogans are interesting - each nation made advertising in its own way, according to the traditions of its mentality. Advertising posters “Provodnik” and “Triangle” were painted by famous artists and any decent auto accessories store in Russia and abroad considered it an honor to have Russian tires in their assortment. Russian advertising did not lie, claiming: “TRIANGLE - The best pneumatic tires” and “The whole world rides on PROVODNIK-COLUMBUS tires.” “Your fate depends on you!” - a characteristic slogan!
