1921 Hungary Poster Stamp Philatelic Exhibition Budapest Visegrád Castle Unused Hinge Mark 80% Original GumThis Hungarian Poster Stamp Was Issued In 1921 To Commemorate A Philatelic Exhibition In Budapest And Features A Red Line Engraving Of The Castle Of Visegrád, Indicated By The Banner-Like Inscription “Visegrád” At The Top Left Of The Central Illustration. The Castle, Situated Along The Danube River North Of Budapest, Was A Symbol Of Hungarian Royal Heritage And A Fitting Subject For A Nationally-Themed Stamp Collectors’ Label. The Design Includes Romanesque Towers And Medieval Fortifications Surrounded By Ornate Decorative Borders Featuring Scrolls, Shields, And Heraldic Flourishes. At The Top Appears The Word “Philatelia” In Bold Gothic Lettering, With The Year “1921” Displayed In A Circular Emblem Beneath The Image.
