1925 Great Britain Poster Stamp British Industries Fair Birmingham The Board Of Trade Fair. February 16th To 27th 1925 Unused No GumBritish Industries Fair Birmingham Poster Stamp Promoting The 1925 Board Of Trade Fair. This Boldly Designed Poster Stamp Features A Striking Red And Black Color Scheme With Classical Allegorical Figures Representing Industry And Trade. At The Left, Britannia Stands Holding A Trident With A Shield Resting Against Her Side, Symbolizing National Strength And Protectionism. Seated Beside Her Is A Cloaked Figure Holding A Caduceus, Representing Commerce, With A Smokestack-Filled Industrial City In The Background. The Central Text Reads "British Industries Fair Birmingham The Board Of Trade Fair" In Prominent Lettering, Emphasizing The Government Sponsorship Of This Major Commercial Exhibition.
