RARE example of the 25 cent parcel post due stamp, JQ5 on cover. 1927 use on meter cover from LaPorte IN to Bronx NY and returned to sender. Use as a due, of course ,in combo with 5 cent regular due issue, boht tied with La Porte postmarks. U.S. Slicing Machine Co. corner card. RARE cover - only a couple of certified uses on cover in the PF database and Siegel auctions seems to have never sold one. Not even priced in Scott. Use is late but appears to be perfectly legitimate; just a post office using up old stamps in stock. Crease at left and some edge wear; stellar 20th century piece.Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
