Bandung, June 25 To July 10 Unused No Gum Paper AdhesionThis Poster Stamp Was Issued For The 8th Netherlands Indies Jaarbeurs (Annual Fair) And Market, Held In Bandoeng (Now Bandung, Indonesia) From June 25 To July 10, 1927. The Event Also Featured The “Eerste Hygiëne Tentoonstelling In Ned-Indië,” Or “First Hygiene Exhibition In The Dutch East Indies.” Rendered In Deep Purple And White, The Design Features A Classical Female Allegorical Figure, Possibly Representing Hygiene Or Enlightenment, Gesturing Toward A Rising Sun Over The Archipelago.
