Along with being involved in the Indian Motorcycle Agency, Meisel was Secretary & Treasurer of the American Flying Mail Association. He later became president of the American Metered Postage Society (AMPS) and was active for nearly 30 years.

Addressed to INDIAN MOTOCYCLE CO., Springfield, Mass

Advertising cover for the Indian Motorcycle Co. of Springfield, MA. Company name and small motorcycle on front, with fantastic all-over LARGE MOTORCYCLE design on back and commemorative text. The cover was sent from Milwaukee, WIS on 7/31/28, the last day of the 10¢ airmail rate, franked with Scott C10 Lindbergh 10¢ airmail stamp. Text describes the limited edition cover carried first by motorcycle across Wisconsin before entering the Airmail mail stream. Very fine & attractive design!
