1937 US Poster Stamp Greater Texas And Pan American Exposition Dallas June 12 To October 31 Unused Hinge Mark 90% Original GumThe Greater Texas And Pan American Exposition Was Held In Dallas, Texas, From June 12 To October 31, 1937. It Was Organized As A Follow-Up To The 1936 Texas Centennial Exposition, Which Had Been Such A Success That State And Local Leaders Wanted To Extend The Fairgrounds’ Use For Another Year. The 1937 Exposition Shifted Its Theme Toward Pan-Americanism, Highlighting Texas As A Commercial And Cultural Bridge To Latin America While Still Celebrating Texan Industry, Agriculture, And Progress.This poster stamp promotes the Greater Texas and Pan American Exposition, held in Dallas, Texas, from June 12 to October 31, 1937.
