Up for auction is a beautiful Munich Germany meter cover sent by a prisoner in the gestapo prison or jail to Prague Bohemia . Prisoner is named Manfred Cammerer to Dr Z Dvobna. Interesting postal history item. Gestapo prisoner mail is very scarce because prisoners were not in Gestapo custody for very long before being released, executed or sent to a concentration camp.

I am not sure if the sender is Jewish by the US Holocaust Museum has more letters and covers from him in their online collection. Includes the original letter contents.

Priced to sell. Postmarked march 1, 1940. In excellent condition.
