This Poster Stamp Presents A Powerful World War II Propaganda Design Featuring A Bold Silhouette Of A Merchant Ship Seen From The Bow, With Its Black Hull And Smoke Stack Standing Out Against A Bright Orange Sky And A Column Of Black Smoke Rising Upward, Symbolizing The Strength And Endurance Of Britain’s Merchant Fleet During Wartime. The Lower Section Displays The Slogan “Britain Delivers The Goods” In Large Black Block Letters Against A Deep Red Ground, A Direct And Confident Assertion Of Britain’s Ability To Maintain Its Lifeline Of Supplies Across The Atlantic Despite German U-Boat Threats.
