Up for auction is a beautiful postcard cover from a prisoner named Stefan Mackowiak in the concentration camp in Posen Poland Germany mailed to a Lena Mackowiak in Waldeck, Poland. Extremely rare postal history cover. The concentration camp at Posen only held between 2,500 and 20,000 prisoners during its existance and very few covers survived the war.Priced to sell. Postmarked June 30, 1943. Acarce cancels and camp markings.For the serious collector of Judaica and Holocaust related philately this is an exceptional item.
