Full mint sheet of 50 - 3 cent stamps issued in 1944 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the completion of the first transcontinental railroad. The stamp shows the famous "Golden Spike Ceremony" from a John McQuarrie Painting. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. This sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 70+ years ago and is suitable for framing. If you're a stamp collector, it is Scott #922.
