Up for auction is a beautiful cover from Schwarzenberg, Germany to Stollberg, Germany. Priced to sell. Postmarked August 6, 1945. Cover is in excellent condition. Great cancels and markings. Has local issue Hitler head obliterated stamps reissued for use after the collapse of the Third Reich. Rare on cover. Stamps are Michel Specialized Germany catalog page 235, the obliteration used on these stamps was last used on August 7, 1945. Catalog value for the 1 and 4 pfenning stamps on cover is 350 Euros, each; for the 6 and 8 pfenning stamps it is 300 Euros each; and 170 euros for the 12 Pfenning stamp.
