Full mint sheet of 50 - 3 cent stamps issued in 1945 to commemorate the Battle of Iwo Jima and honoring the achievements of the U.S. Marines in WWII. The stamp shows Marines raising the American Flag on Mount Suribachi, Iwo Jima. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. This sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 70+ years ago and is suitable for framing. If you're a stamp collector, it is Scott #929.
