Item Description

This Lot is a 1945 Set of 7 Somali Coast stamps Scott #'s 240-47 in Mint Never Hinged condition - depicting a Locomotive engine surrounded by Palm trees with overprinted surcharge. Stamps have deep rich coloring, four margins with varied centering (all nice), and excellent perforations all around. Front and reverse sides of stamps are clean. Reverse sides of stamps have original gum and are Mint Never Hinged. Please see pictures of front and reverse sides for quality and condition. Scott 2024 Catalogue values this Set of 7 stamps at $8.50 US.
