Up for auction is a beautiful mail cover from Finsterwalde Niederlausitz, Germany to Hamburg with the complete set of Sangerstadt local issues Michel # 1-12 on cover. Postmarked February 18, 1946. Stamps on cover have a catalog value of $320 Euros. Exceptionally rare postal history cover from the early postwar era. The cover is missing the 10 pf stamp and from the postmark it apparently fell off, the Michel catalog notes these stamps were poorly gummed.On the lower left hand corner of the cover are the color errors for stamps # 3b and 9b. The correct colored stamps are also on the cover for comparison. Very rare.Priced to sell. In excellent condition.Shipping will be a flat $4.00 within the continental U.S. for USPS mail.
