Grade: UngradedUp for auction is a beautiful cover, post marked July 28, 1947, from the special internment camp 67 in Cyprus to New York USA . Sender is Karol Segal . In excellent condition. Priced to sell. Great stamps and cancels. Cyprus had about a dozen internment camps from 1939-1948 which held thousands of Jews fleeing Nazi Germany and seeking refuge in Palestine. They were usually intercepted at sea by the British and interned. This is a classic piece of Judaica and holocaust related postal history, unusual and scarce item.
