Full mint sheet of 50 - 3 cent stamps issued in 1948 to honor the 300th anniversary of the organization of the 1st volunteer firemen in America by Peter Stuyvesant. The stamp shows Peter Stuyvesant along with early and modern Fire Engines. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. This sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 70 years ago and is suitable for framing. If you're a stamp collector, it is Scott #971.
