Item Description

This Lot consists of a 1971 Great Britain Block of ten 1/2 p to 2 1/2 p, Strip of five 1p to 5 p, and Strip of five 6p to 10 Shilling Postal Strike stamps. In 1971 the Royal Post Office authorized private carriers to issue stamps and deliver mail to break the strike. Each of these multiples is inscribed "PILGRIM TERCENTENARY: and "MAYFLOWER". Stamps have deep rich coloring, are nicely centered, and have fully intact perforations all around and between. Each pictures the ship MAYFLOWER. All are Mint Never Hinged with original Gum. All have clean front and reverse sides. Please see pictures for condition and quality.
