1974 7p Stag watermark "e" bisected on 1974 printer-matter cover with neat Dublin machine-cancel 28 IX 1974. This was tolerated in Dublin during a temporary shortage of 3½p definitives, prior to the issue of the unwatermarked 3½p on October 9th, 1974. Most examples appear to have suffered the fate of most printed-matter envelopes and simply landed in a bin. Very few known!Sales History
