Item Description

This Lot is a 1983 Faroe Islands Scott #101 Souvenir Sheet of 3 Cultural, Costume stamps on First Day Cover. Souvenir Sheet and stamps are tied to cover by "TORSHAVN / 4.11.1983 / UTGAVUDIGAN" illustrated circular date cancels. Souvenir Sheet and each of the 3 stamps have exquisite coloring, four nice margins with balanced centering, and excellent perforations all around and between. Cover itself measures approximately 163 mm x 115 mm, has sharp corners and sharp straight lines, and is clean front and reverse sides. There is a small pencil annotation in the bottom left corner of the cover front. Please see pictures for condition and quality of this cover.
