In 2003, the US issued a prestige booklet entitled "Old Glory. A beloved national symbol woven into the fabric of American life". The booklet contains 2 booklet panes with differing backing. Each has two rows of 5 different Old glory stamps (Sc # 3776-3780). In total there are 20 - 37-cent stamps in the booklet. The five stamps feature photographs of patriotic ephemera inspired by the colors and design of the flag, our most enduring national symbol. These delightful pieces of America's heritage include: a 19th-century folk art carving, a badge from the presidential campaign of 1888, a detail of a silk bookmark woven in 1893, a 20th-century carving of Uncle Sam, and a modern folding fan.
