A legend tells about the origin of the oriental horoscope. The Buddha invited all the animals to celebrate the New Year, but only 12 responded to the invitation: Rat, Bull, Tiger, Cat, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig. And then the Buddha decided to thank the animals, giving each of them a year.

The Eastern horoscope is inextricably linked with the Chinese calendar, according to which 12 mythological animals, according to Eastern cosmogonic theory, represent 12 cosmic influences.
