The plots of the stamps were 7 fragments of colored stained glass, decorating the sacred buildings of the city of Leo. Namely, the Church of the Dominican and St. Anthony, the Church of the Assumption, the Armenian and Latin Cathedrals, as well as stained glass windows in the former Krakow Hotel, and now here is the Court of Appeal.
The history of stained glass dates back to ancient Egypt, as evidenced by archaeological research.
The word stained glass comes from the French vitre, which means "window glass".
Most information about the stained glass windows of Lviv came from the 15th century.
