The city of special redemption of the stamp - city Kherson, December 09, 2022.
Number of special repayments of the stamp was limited, not more than 2500 pcs in Kherson.

The liberation by the Armed Forces of Ukraine of every city, every settlement echoes in the hearts of Ukrainians both with joy at the return of their native land, and with a stinging pain because of the price that has to be paid for it.
The main object in the plot of the postage stamp "Kherson is Ukraine" is a watermelon - a symbol of Kherson and the Kherson region, on the slice of which the chronicle of the temporary occupation of the city is created: burning buildings, civil protests, torture of civilians. Instead of watermelon seeds on a slice there are rockets destroying the city.
The cover depicts a Ukrainian military man returning the territory of Ukraine freed from occupation, allegorically depicted in the form of a slice of watermelon.
The author of the issue is the artist Andrii Sagach, known to Ukrainians as the winner of the national stage of the contest for sketches for the postage stamp "Peace is the highest value of humanity!" and the author of the cover with the original stamp "Spring will come again!"
