The ghost of Kyiv – the MIG-29 pilot scored 6 aerial victories in the skies above Kyiv in the first 30 hours of the Russian invasion of Ukraine: he shot down 2 Su-35 aircraft, 2 Su-25 aircraft, 1 Su-27 and MiG-29 each.
On February 25, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine suggested on its page in social networks that the Ghost of Kyiv could be one of the experienced reserve military pilots who quickly returned to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine after the enemy invasion.
In total, as of March 6, "Ghost of Kyiv" shot down 38 planes of the occupiers.
