In 1995 the USPS started 3 series under the general heading of “American”: American Scenes, American Transportation and American Culture. With one exception, the stamps covered the Nonprofit, Presorted and Bulk rates. The exception was the $1 Wisdom stamp in the American Culture series. This listing covers the American Culture series which ran from 1995-2003. Other listings in my store offer the other 2 series. All coils are PNC5 although I haven’t listed the plate number for each coil. Most issues had only 1 plate number and those with multiple plate numbers had a similar value. The 18 issues in the American Culture series are: 2908 2909 2910 2911 2912 2912A 2912B 3132 3447 3447a 3769 3520 3770 3208 3208A 3522 3766 3766a. 3766 and 3766a are the 2 non-coil issues. 3132 is one of the experimental liner-less coils and the only one with simulated perforations.
