FOUR BETTER D SERIES METER STAMP COVERS: three legal or oversize, with slogans, those are all type DC5-A by the new Meter catalog, however the Baltimore example shown alone in the third scan is Meter 01022, the "No" had been removed and the older catalog lists 01023 and 01024 as especially small numbers, this cover which is one number off also appears a bit different, better slogans incl Kaywoodie Pipes, telephone with exchange and ILLUSTRATION OF A PHONE, also taxes from Baltimore Land bank, all window envs, sm flaws, bit of toning, tiny tear on one, the extra is a later oddball shaped cover with a D meter with 2 5/8c denomination (late 50s?), reduced at bottom, tough grouping for the specialist, Fine-VF
