A big bonus with this accumulation is that the person who organized all this has written very clean, neat and clear on the back of most stamps the Scott Catalog number (See last picture for an example)
Estimate of total stamps achieved by selecting a typical binder and actually counting, very conservatively, number of stock sheets and individual stamps on those sheets in that binder.
The binder I selected had 46 stock sheets. The total for that binder was 7,546 stamps.
I then divided by 46 to get an average of 164 stamps per stock sheet.
I then counted total number of stock sheets contained in the 10 binders. Total is 396 Stock sheets X 160 stamps per stock sheet for a total of 63,360 stamps. I then added 6,800 stamps for the remaining small binders etc for a final total of approximately 65 – 70,000.
There are some CTO’s in this, but also a large amount of non CTO’s and many earlier from many countries.
