Item Description
This is a used, 1882, 6 cent rose "re-engraved" Lincoln, P12, SC208. The stamp does not have any gum, and has a very faint indication of having been hinged. Please observe in the closeup image, that there are only 3 vertical lines from the edge of the panel to the outside of the stamp, identifying this stamp as SC208. The original stamps (159 &186) had 4 vertical lines.Note:
