This Air Mail cover was mailed from Auckland, New Zealand to Ridgewood, New York in 1950 franked by a 1/- Tui (Parson) Bird tied to the envelope by 'Visit New Zealand's Sunny Healthy Pacific Paradise' slogan machine cancel.

Purple rectangular handstamp on front: 'New Zealand - U.S.A. / Air Mail Service / via New Caledonia, Canton Is. / and Hawaii.'

Verso has a black double circle Noumea, New Caledonia double circle datestamp and a Pan American Airways "1er Courrier" illustrated Noumea handstamp.

The backflap is un-sealed and intact. No contents.
