Item Description

Buy Canadian. The exchange rate for all major currencies is currently very attractive. This is an variety of SG125 Listed in ACSC as BW82(1)de in Electro I, Position 46 as a pair with Position 47. The BSAP Check List mentions the following features of this variety. Second State: 2a - Scratch starts to the right of the Right Wattles and continues downwards to behind the Emu's head and neck; 2b - Cross on Crown has a break or dent at the middle of its top surface (variable). Fourth State: 4a - The Bottom Frame has a slight indentation under the second N of PENNY. This resulted from the retouch to eliminate the Third State flaw (3a) of a significant nick in this location, as illustrated in ACSC. The printing of this pair can thus be attributed to 1935 or later. The BSAP Check List does not mention any variety in the Position 47 stamp.
