Trying to connect the Year of the Monkey with an AFDCS fund-raising appeal was not easy, but the American First Day Cover Society shrugged their shoulders and decided to go with this lame cachet anyway!It adorns a #10-sized envelope that was sent to all AFDCS members encouraging donations to the Society. This particular cover has the seldom-seen DCP FDoI cancel.
If I had known the stamp was being issued in JAMAICA, New York, I would have given the little guy dreadlocks!
