BELGIUM: FOUR METER STAMP COVERS; including the Unique Phenix Works cover with an unreported type of IMC #D1.B.c, the D1 series (made by Hasler) were used from the 30s to the 80s and had a town mark with a frank, virtually all of these machines had NO slogan, the only one known (shown in IMC) has a slogan for Canadian Pacific REPLACING THE TOWN MARK, this Phenix Works pictorial slogan is the same type and PREVIOUSLY UNRECORDED, it is also the earliest usage of this Rare type by a decade, 1952 Flemalle usage on Euro cover, addr Wilmington DE USA, four holes (from stapler) do not affect the frank, very unusual, lot also includes three more covers with various Belgium meter stamps, showing different usages for display, a rare lot, Fine-VF!
