Every Christmas Season the FDC-collecting Ries Chapter of the AFDCS gathers at the home of Bob & Annie Lewin for our annual YULE TUBER party! Bob bakes enough potatoes for everyone, and the other club members try to bring unique and creative toppings for the potatoes. Everyone has a tuber-superb time!As a reward for driving all the way to Temecula (over 100 miles for some club members) a complimentary cover is always created to handout. In 2013 the U.S. Holiday issue was Christmas Gingerbread Houses, the construction of which just happens to be a specialty of Potato-Bob, seen here lathering pink frosting on his latest creation!
This cover bears a single from the set of four gingerbread house stamps, and is FDoI cancelled with the official Digital Color Postmark of November 8, 2013.
