Unaddressed January 12th, 1979 Washington, D.C. Airmail combination cover:

- First Flight of Braniff International Airways' SST D.C. to Dallas - Fort Worth (Braniff was restricted to continental U.S.A. SST flights).
- First Day of Issue of the blue 15c Robert F. Kennedy issue, Scott 1770. The stamp is tied to the envelope by a FDOI cancellation.

The cachet is part text with a Robert Kennedy quote and also depicts two images of the SST.

The backflap is tucked in, intact, and is adhered to a stiffener inside the envelope. No other contents or backstamps.

The cover in the scan is the one you will receive. Light lines in images are SCANNER ARTIFACT!
