Item Description

1850 or so stampless folded letter from Peoria IL to Rushville.  Red CDS, two strikes of 5 in cogged oval rate handstamp (the first one isn't very clear, which is probably the cause of the second).  Undated short note inside may actually be docketing or annotations rather than the original content.

Basic
domestic shipping is FREE for this item (some of my items are consigned and I do
charge postage for those; please check individual items).  Over $30, I
use a cardboard mailer where appropriate.  Over $50, tracking is included for domestic; under $20 and up to 3 items up to $50 that fit I use Hip's new tracking system where possible (which regrettably does not allow the use of stamps, but it's worth the tracking).  $2 letter shipping for international/$15 for Hip international tracking.
