Item Description
A well centered and fresh NH single of the 3C CARMINE-ROSE QUEEN ELIZABETH II COIL STAMP FROM THE 1953 KARSH ISSUE. Printed on smooth wove paper that does not show any clear mesh, even when held up to the light, and and giving a dull reaction under ultraviolet light. Shiny yellowish cream coloured gum. 2015 Unitrade values a VF-75 NH single at $2. The stamp offered here grades 80 as follows:
Centering/Margins: 50/70
Paper Freshness: 5/5
Colour: 5/5
Impression: 5/5
Absence of Visible Paper Flaws: 5/5
Perforations: 10/10
Note: the above scan is a stock photo as are all my scans for material after 1952. The stamp you will receive has been carefully checked to adhere to the above grading standards, so while it may not be exactly the same, it will be of the same quality. Also, I do not provide back scans of NH stamps or blocks after 1952 unless they are required to illustrate some attribute of the paper of gum.
