Historical 1947 Commercial Airmail Cover from the period of the Chinese Civil War.5 Dr. Sun Yat-sen Overprinted Stamps ( one pair and 3 Singles) with the Par Avion Airline label. V Flown from Tientsin ( now Tianjin ) to Shanghai. The stamps Seems to be the Scott Type A57 Type.Dates on the hand stamped CDS are 7-5-47 and arrival CDS 9-5-47 NOTES : Air transport at that time was the Civil Air Transport so named CAT that was organized with the help of Chennault , Fiorello La Guardia and the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Agency to the Help the Nationalist Chinese of Chiang Kai -shek to supply the north China. Many Famous Aviators help to run and pilot the Airline.
