Unique collection of Masonry stamps housed in a large three ring binder.

Contains over 170 sheets of well written narratives of worldwide stamps of famous or semi famous masons.

On each page are the stamps depicting a mason in alphabetical order.  Each page designates one or more stamps in recognition of a specific individual.  Almost all stamps are mint non-hinged.

It appears that whoever designed this philatelic themed collection was well versed in Masonic history.  A majority of the sheets have a write-up, but not every page.

Stamps and writing are only on one side which eliminates the possibility of stamps being pulled off by other stamps.  Stamps are mounted with black backgrounds.  Pages are made of heavy, durable cardstock.  To clarify, there are over 340 pages or in other words, 170 sheets.

Some items that you should be aware of are that most stamps have their catalogue value written in pencil, next to the stamp.  I do not know what year catalog was used.  Some stamps have been previously removed.  Each page is clean, neat with an occasional smudge noted.  

The previous owner cataloged the total value at $512.  This has not been verified.  There is the potential that the value could be higher, since an older catalog was probably used when making the calculations.  I do not know when this collection was made up, but does have a slight yellowing due to age.

I have never come across an album such as this.  It seems perfectly designed for an individual, who totally enjoys learning of people throughout the world, who have a place within Masonic culture.

An impressive item that is sure to please the discerning collector of Masonic philately.
