Item Description

SCV $0.25 (2018). Single 2-centavo Oil Wells stamp with REVERSION overprint in USED, VF condition. This stamp was issued to publicize the reversion of the Mares oil concession to Colombia. No flaws noted. No gum. The stamp is firm, its color is bright, it has a black ink cancellation mark & a black ink overprint that says "REVERSION",  "CONCESION MARES" and "25 Agosto 1951". Engraved, no gum, wavy lines with multiple 'C' watermark (wmk 255), perf 12.
