We're dipping into our archives this week . . and fishing out some seldom-seen combos from the 1990s!Here's a 20¢ Pheasant FDC from 1998, franked with both the booklet and coil versions, and combo'd with the South Dakota stamp from the 'State Birds and Flowers' issue of 1982 showing a Pheasant!
(The title of 'Pheasant Under Glass' refers to an haute cuisine poultry dish generally composed of the breast of pheasant with shallots in a reduced wine sauce. In the cachet, the Pheasant's head is UNDER a magnifying GLASS - actually under a clear acetate square!)
The cachet is color photocopy printed. The reverse carries the Bennett CACHETOONS logo.
