Item Description
The great state of Wisconsin is in the spotlight on this event 'card' issued at the National Topical Stamp Show 2011, held in Brookfield, WI that year! The theme was 'BE MORE WISCONSCIOUS!' This card crams in a cornucopia of topics, including motorcycles, milk bottles, cheesehead hats, a robin (the state bird), dairy products, and even a cow with a map of Wisconsin among its spots!The card is a little less than 4" wide and 6" tall and printed in full color. It is franked with a plate number single of the Wisconsin Statehood stamp of 1998, and is cancelled with the special NTSS pictorial show cancel showing a cow riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle (proudly built in Wisconsin!). The reverse shows a rough sketch of the cachet idea that was sent to the show committee for approval!
